CASCADE is a conceptually new recirculating technology for super-intensive land-based fish farming offered by Mega-Fish. Designed during 16 years of practical research the technology is supported by an integrated set of original devices including:

Why CASCADE is more efficient?
The reasons for CASCADE's unique productivity are increased caring capacity and growth rates.

Increased Caring Capacity
The key to high-density production (up to 500 kg/fish/M3) is the elimination of negative factors that limit fish growth in the stressful conditions of industrial land-based farming. While most limiting factors - such as water exchange, oxygen saturation and feed rate - are well known, some of them were first solved by CASCADE. The technology's mathematical basis and quantitative range of limiting factors - a major value added element of the CASCADE concept - were derived empirically during experiments on a full-scale commercial farm.

High Growth Rates
The key to high growth rates is the use of separate growth by stages and pheromone exchange between fish.

Fish Diversity
CASCADE technology was implemented (fully or partially) for the following species: Rainbow and Donaldson Trout, Atlantic Salmon, Turbot, Scophthalmus maeoticus, Flathead Mullet, Mugil cephalus, Tilapia, Carp, Lena Sturgeon, Piaractus, Calassoma, Catla, Rohu.
